Meditation
I once asked a Buddhist monk in Daramsala, the home of the Dali Lama, “How often do you meditate?” He answered with smiling eyes and an open heart “I am always meditating”.

Meditation is not something we do. It is not an action. It is non-action. We don’t have to sit crossed legged and chant a mantra. Meditation is the process by which we calm the mind into such a state that we can live it. Truly feeling, and bringing awareness to, every situation we find ourselves in, every moment every day. Through this practice of awareness we can live a more peaceful joyous existence in unison with our source which some may call “God”.

This course will be a beginner’s guide to meditation, aiming to give a solid understanding of: -

Daily practice and how effective it is in bringing the mind body and spirit into alignment.
The importance of breath, and how we can use it.
Energies, auras, Spirit guides and angels.
Grounding and protecting.
The source, or God self, the universal energy which we are.
The existence and value of “flow”.

The course is aimed at those who are interested in, but have little or no experience of meditation. Perfect for anyone beginning their Spiritual path, or for therapists who are feeling the need to understand and utilise the energies which they are working with.
